Hong Fa, is proud to announce the arrival of Mv Chang Jiang in Sepetiba, Brazil on her maiden voyage from China.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The 36.000 Mtns DWAT Mv Chang Jiang is the first delivery in a series of 4 sister vessels namely Mv Huang He (April 2015), Mv Tai Hu (October 2015) and Mv Dong Hai (December 2015). These \u201cBlue Whale\u201d type vessels offer a combined lifting capacity of 520 Mtns (2&#215;260 Mtns + 1 x 120 Mtns) and over 8000 SQM under deck space and are true multi-purpose flexible workhorses. Convertible into single decker\u2019s by mean of (re) moveable pontoons,<\/p>\n<p>Stefan Pompe, Director of SeaWorks said: \u201cI am pleased to welcome the vessel in the service and in Brazil. With her long wide holds and hatches plus lifting capacity up to 520 Mtns the \u201cBlue Whale\u201d series provides and offers a powerful economy of scale to meet today\u2019s low cost per freight ton demands of our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The second vessel in the series will start her maiden voyage at Shanghai, China around 10th April 2015 on the line\u2019s dedicated <strong>Service Route<\/strong> Far East + South East Asia to the East Coast of South America (<strong>Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay<\/strong>). En-route ports will be considered case by case.
